This is the first time that Isabella has actually gotten to sit and watch tv - the Inauguration! Except for when she was strapped into her high chair to eat lunch and a couple minutes after lunch, she pretty much ignored it. But now we can tell her that she too, was a part of this historical day. I feel so lucky to have been home from work because of a snow day so I was able to watch the whole thing on tv, instead of bits and pieces in front of a computer at work. Although we were planning on showing some of it to the kids at school, I liked this better. And I was able to share the experience with Nick and Isabella, so that made it even more special. The top picture is of our Christmas lights that we put up on the fence this year.
