After a 3rd day running a fever, we took Isabella to the doctor. She has an ear infection. So now she's on antibiotics and should be feeling better soon. Her cough is really bad and does wake her up at night. She is really congested too. She was so congested last night that she couldn't even nurse. I think that is the first time in her entire 16 1/2 months that she's been too congested to nurse. Poor thing. She is feeling better though. Her mood has improved, even though she was a TOTAL drama queen at the doctor's office yesterday. Any time a nurse or the dr. came close to her for any reason (the only two reasons were to check her temp and listen with the stethescope), she screamed bloody murder. Geez little one!! But everything else was fine, breathing, throat, etc. Just the ear infection. So now we are looking forward to 10 days of horrible diaper rash caused by the antibiotics. Sigh. Is it spring yet?
