You may have seen my post earlier this season about the acorns. Well, they have finally stopped falling! Now, it is on to the leaves! With his day off on Friday, morning off on Saturday, and naptime on Sunday, Nick bagged up the remaining acorns (probably 6-7 bags) as well as most of the leaves that were in the backyard. As you can see from this picture, there are close to 40 bags of leaves there, plus the two piles, which represent our front yard and driveway. However, you will also notice from this picture that the trees are still nowhere near close to being finished dropping their leaves on us! Looks like we (we meaning Nick. Although to my credit, I did help with some of the bagging and raking during naptime yesterday) have a long road ahead!
Those cursed acorns though, the ones that weren't scooped up earlier have started sprouting, so now they are attached to the ground, and impossible to blow. Raking them takes more elbow grease than I have.
