Ferry and Aquarium

On our way to the aquarium!

Bootsy's first boat ride!

This picture perfectly shows off Isabella's personality. Too shy to even look at the stranger that we got to take our picture. People keep telling us it is a phase, she'll grow out of it. Like it is something bad! Like it is abnormal to not want to look or talk to a strange person that is in your face, asking you all kinds of questions. I am shy, and have always been. As an adult I can manage it better, but it is still a part of my personality. I don't want her to be ashamed of her shyness. I want her to be able to work through the anxiety that it causes so it doesn't interfere with her life. We're working on it!

Isabella was SO excited to go to the aquarium on Tuesday! So excited that she didn't even really enjoy the ferry ride. All she wanted to do was go to the aquarium. So we get there, and she practically ran through it and then wanted to go to the "other aquarium." What other aquarium? Why didn't you want to stay longer in this one? Oh well, it was time to go home anyway. I'm just glad our NSC memberships got us in for free, so we didn't pay $16 for a 20 minute walk through a building that just happened to have some fish, turtles, alligators, seahorses, sharks, frogs, and an octopus in it. I guess she's more of a zoo girl. She kept asking to see the animals.
