Asheville!

Here goes my first post of (hopefully) many in trying to play catch-up since April!! I figured I'd better start with our Asheville trip since we're headed back up there this weekend!

We had a lot of fun even though the weather was a bit uncooperative. Once again I was SO thankful for our NSC membership. It has got to be one of the best values EVER! For $75 per year, not only do you get in free to the NSC (which we easily met that value within the first month or so of our membership), but you get in free or discounted at all kinds of places - the aquariums, Discovery Place, the zoo (1/2 price), and both places that we visited on our Asheville trip, the Western NC Nature Center (pictures above) and the Asheville science museum. We got to spend lots of time with Annie and Chrissie and were also excited to have dinner with my awesome cousin John and his fabulous fiancee Caroline. Bailey was at the stage of wanting to walk but needing to hold hands ALL the time. She loved Chrissie's turtle. Isabella had a lot of fun and is excited to be going back!
