Isabella's personality comes out more and more every day! Her new tricks are waving and clapping. She likes the reaction she gets from us when she does those. She is not crawling yet but is getting closer by the day. She can move though. She rolls over and over and she also scoots backwards when she is on her tummy. In the pictures, she started out in the middle of her rug sitting on her bottom and ended up halfway under the crib! She talks all the time! She does not have any words but just babbles away. She has her two bottom teeth, I'll have to try to get a picture of those.
I'm home for the summer, which is really nice, but it's also an adjustment for me. Naptime is a struggle for us. She is such a sweetheart. She likes snuggling and hugs and kisses. This morning we were playing in her room and she would stop every so often to give me a snuggle. She is also really happy most of the time (except right now when she is laying in her crib complaining that I have put her down for a nap and she is fighting it...sigh). She is social but at the same time fairly shy around new people. She will give them a smile and then burrow in mommy or daddy's chest. She loves other kids. She misses her buddy Jordan. Since I am home she isn't going to Crystal's every day but she did go yesterday since I had a meeting. She was SO excited to see Jordan! She started waving like crazy. And Jordan started waving back. It was so cute!
Her latest new food is blueberries, which are all over her face in the pictures. Next I think we're going to try some sort of protein, either chicken or lentils.
