It's Official...

Reidsville has been named an "All-American City"!! Nick has been down in Tampa since Tuesday night, trying to win Reidsville (the city in which he works) the honor of being an All-American City. The city chose 3 of its "star" programs to go down and make a presentation. Nick's Teen Center was chosen as one of the programs, and it was one of the programs that helped bring the city to victory! Congrats to all of the Reidsvillians!


Since Nick has been in Tampa all week, Isabella and I have been making it on our own! It was really hard at first but it has gotten a lot easier. Hopefully I'll have enough time to clean the house before Nick comes home so that he won't know exactly how much of a train wreck it has been while he has been gone(shhhh!). Wow.


So what have we been up to while Daddy has been away? Well, this was my last week of school, so it has been CRAZY! Crystal was flexible enough to take Isabella early all week, but still the earliest I was able to make it out of the house has been 9:00. We've gone to the pool twice. It has been SO hot these past couple of days and no relief in sight! I mean, high 90s and humid. Crazy hot. But the pool is awesome and Isabella likes it. We spend most of our time in the toddler pool, where she sits and splashes in the water. She also likes playing in the little fountains. I also take her in the big pool. She gets a kick out of me swirling her around in the water.
