Isabella had her first visit to Davidson this weekend. We went down today for the 5th Annual Alumni Volleyball Match. I played in this game the first 2 years, missed the next year because I was so busy with school, missed the year after that because I was pregnant, and made it down today as a spectator only. My good friend Gina was brave enough to play with a team full of young 20 somethings. I applaud her for that, and she played really well, too! The "Old Cats" almost won the first set, won the second set, and ran out of steam to lose the last two. It was really fun to watch though. We got there early enough to take a stroll through campus, eat at the Soda Shop, take some pictures, and buy Isabella her first piece of Davidson apparel. I have promised Nick that sometime soon we will buy her some UNCG gear and take her picture all over his beloved campus. However, she will not need her G shirt for basketball season, as the Spartans do not have high hopes for a good season but down in Davidson, Stephan Curry will be back for another year! She was a little gym rat today, having a blast crawling all over the court. She also surprized us by clapping whenever a point was scored (lest you think she knows the game of volleyball so well that she already has Olympic hopes, we think she was just reacting to the crowd, ha ha ha :)
