Ap-po

I never knew how exciting the /p/ sound could be until Isabella learned it! She can say the word apple (ap-po). She looks hilarious when she says it because she opens her mouth really wide but her lips are curled into a tiny o shape, so she looks like an old person not wearing their dentures! She won't perform for the camera yet though, so you'll just have to form that picture in your mind for now. She is so proud that she knows /p/, so she uses it whenever she can. Just pretty much over the weekend she can say apple, help, up, and stop. This morning I was putting on her pants and when her foot popped out of her pant leg I said "pop", so Isabella said "pop"!
