We have had a lot of house action lately, with 2 showings each on Thursday and Saturday, with a lot of positive feedback, including one buyer who just needed to talk to her lender. We had relaxed a bit Sunday morning and didn't clean the house before leaving for a picnic with my parents, as no showings had been scheduled. We get a call at 12:45 of a 2:15 showing, so Nick scrambled to get everything ready. At 5:00, we had notification of an offer!! We held off our counter offer until the next day because we thought we'd get another offer. That buyer couldn't qualify for enough $ so we countered the first offer and by 10:30 Monday night, our house was SOLD! The girl made an offer even before her fiancee even saw the house!
This afternoon we are meeting with our realtor to prepare an offer to buy! Wish us luck!
