Cookin

Out of desperation one day, I stood Isabella in a chair and let her help me make dinner (Nick doesn't get home til after we eat). She LOVES it! She always says "help me" when she wants to, well, help me. Her favorite thing to do is shake shake, as you can see above. I have to pick spice bottles that don't come out too freely, otherwise we end up with way too much spice in our food! The funniest thing is when she shakes the spices into her mouth. You name it, coriander, paprika, parsley, oregano, mustard...She won't always eat her dinner, but she never minds some dry spices in her mouth!

Grandbob refinished my and Annie's old kitchen set for Isabella's birthday. She hasn't received it yet but Guylene got a tip of that upcoming present and got her this cool set of wooden food. It velcros together and you can "chop" it with the knife. Isabella enjoys "cookin" with her food. (Except when it is about 5:30 and she is hungry, tired, 2, and easily frustrated. Then the food gets thrown across the room. But other than that she enjoys it!)
