How's it Go-nen?

The Telephone
Hello. Hey. Hows it go-nen? Bye.

This is Isabella's "conversation" on the phone. It could be a real phone (not with anyone on the other end though), it could be her play phone, it could be the remote control, or it could be an imaginary phone, usually "retrieved" from my pocket. Occasionally she will throw in some other tidbit of conversation, such as last night's talk about the fact that the peanuts she had been eating were all done and this was the "laaaaast one". And when she "hangs up", she presses the button (even if it is an imaginary phone). Very cute. I try to get it on video but she always stops.

Commands
Snickahs, come heeeee-uh!
Ramsey, come hee-uh!
Baby, lay down!
Fwoggie, lay down!
Mommy go play?
This weekend, she was chasing Snickers around the backyard (backyog) yelling Snickahs, COME HEEE-UH! It was a trip, especially considering that Snickers doesn't want too much to do with Isabella so she was just doing her own thing. It is funny seeing her try to direct the action. Luckily, she isn't yet demanding with us. Some kids are bossy from birth, but not Isabella. She may turn out bossy, but we are still enjoying her fairly laid back personality!

Isabella-ese
You may have read my post a little while back (which of course I can't find because I'm not a good blogger - I don't tag my posts!) about Isabella-ese. She is becoming pretty easy to understand and mimics most things we say. She still has a couple of things that don't sound at all like the original.
Sa-bee or Sa-beeek = cover up.
Last night she did say "sabee you" a couple of times to her baby, so that was a little closer. Not quite sure how cover you or cover you up ended up like sa-bee.
Aye-do-wise = all by myself.
This has not changed since she started saying it. Once again, not quite sure how she got from one to the other.
Other cute ones (that are closer) I've already mentioned are backyog or backyock for backyard and go-nen or co-nen for going, as in her phone convo.

I have the explanation for "Sa-bee"...
In French "s'habiller" pronounced "sa-bee-yeah" means to get dressed.
She is just speaking French and you don't know it!
