A Rare Occasion

It is a rare occasion that I get to watch Isabella sleep. We don't go in her room to check on her too often. On Saturday we thought she was going to skip her nap, but she fell asleep, woke up shortly afterwards, and asked to go lay in bed. Usually she doesn't sleep in our bed. But she must have been tired that afternoon. So I had to get her situated with her duck on her pillow (peepo), then I had to "sabeek" (cover her up) with her blue blanket (which you can't see in the picture), her other blue blanket, her green blanket, and her purple blanket. She also needs her giraffe, her froggie, and her block. And before she went to sleep, she asked for her "snot rag" for me to wipe her nose. High maintenance (this is the routine during every "night nights"), yes, but at least she went back to sleep for quite awhile. And I was able to sneak out of there for a bit.

I have to admit that one of the things I am looking most forward to with the arrival of Baby Bailey is just being able to watch her sleep. And babies make the best faces and noises when they sleep, too!
