We lucked out again this year - one of Nick's baseball teams went to a tournament at the beach and we tagged along. Free hotel room for 2 nights, you can't pass that down! However, 3 nights as a family in a hotel room isn't exactly what we'd call vacation. The girls were extremely silly come bedtime, and Bailey didn't nap the entire time we were there, well, unless you count the time that she fell asleep on the way to dinner and didn't wake up until Nick was shoving food in her mouth. I don't think hotels should be allowed to be called "Suites" unless there is actually a DOOR in the room that separates the sleeping area from the bed area. A 2 foot wall that separates the bed from the couch doesn't cut it when you've got kids trying to go to sleep and adults trying to stay awake! We had a great time though!

We were able to snag a parking spot at the south end of Wrightsville, you can swim on the sound side but it is still beachy, just no waves besides boat wake. The girls loved it, it is perfect for little ones. Isabella was able to get a ways out and still touch. She's not swimming with the floatie in the pool but she likes to use it at the beach. We saw a dolphin!

She refused to get in the dragon with Isabella, but she didn't look like she was having any fun - she finally gave us a hint of a smile at the end.
