Tonight was the most awesome display of weather that I have seen in a long while. We had the worst hailstorm I have ever seen in my entire life! At one point the hail was coming down as thick as rain! Almost all of the hail was dime to quarter size. Neighbors across the street found a few golf ball size! It was so crazy! At the end our deck was covered, much like the pictures I posted earlier this year of the snow that we got. Of course, through all this madness, Nick was at work and Isabella and I were at home alone (with the dogs, who are total scaredy cats during thunderstorms). I called my neighbor Robyn to ooh and aah with someone but she had to get off the phone so that they could go down to their basement. At which point, I took the opposite route and immediately opened my door so I could take pictures! We were really lucky that we didn't have any damage. My parents lost power, lost a tree, and their neighbor's tree fell down onto their fence.
