Isabella suffered her first official boo-boo tonight. She was crawling down the hall towards me and I think her knee landed on her hand or something so she ended up falling flat on her face. It made a really loud noise but I wasn't quite sure what part of her face she hit until I noticed all the blood coming from her mouth! Poor thing. But she's a trooper and was fine after a few snuggles.
On another note...victory in the nap department today! Yes yes, we are bad-habit parents and (still) let her nap on our laps on the weekend. I tried to break the habit this summer but gave up. It is sweet and snuggly but was getting a little old, especially now that she is lengthening her naps to 2 hours at a time. So anyway, she slept in her crib for me today! She didn't complain too much about it either. Hooray! I knew she could do it because she naps just fine in the pack-n-play at Heather's house, and last year at Crystal's too. It was just breaking the habit at home. So hopefully today is not a fluke and we will finally have some free time in the afternoons!! :)
Halloween last night was pretty uneventful. Isabella dressed up in her duck costume but didn't like sitting outside with us in the neighbor's yard. So we had to come back in. I didn't take any pictures because...well, just because. And we didn't carve the pumpkin (we are lame-o), so I didn't even have a jack-o-lantern to inspire any pictures. So if you are looking for Halloween pictures, you'll have to be satisfied with the ones I posted earlier. So anticlimatic I know.
