I looked at Isabella's baby book the other day and while she weighed less at birth and when she left the hospital, she weighed 10,14 at her 2 week check-up while Bailey only weighed 10,5. I didn't realize Isabella had gained THAT much weight so quickly!
This one is a pretty good mix between Bailey and Isabella.
This one is very Isabella. But Bailey has a lot less hair and it is lighter. Isabella had a dark mop at this age and beyond.
Last night was the best night yet for Bailey! She slept from about 11-3:45 in her swaddle, in her pack-n-play! Then she woke up to eat. Then she wanted to be awake so I finally swaddled her and put her back in her PNP, where she eventually fell asleep (I may have fallen asleep first) and slept from about 5-7. Yay!! We're making good progress!
Isabella is starting to be more affectionate towards her little sis. Tonight we were down in the playroom and Isabella kept asking her "Bailey, want to share my toys? Bailey, want to play with this toy?" I think she will be much happier when Bailey starts to interact but it is sweet to see Isabella talk to her like that!
Tonight was my second night at home alone for bedtime. Saturday night was HELL. I had been home with the girls all afternoon and was having a very tired day anyway. Isabella was cranky and bedtime was awful. Tonight was GREAT! Let's hope we can have more GREAT nights, as Nick will be working at least 3 nights per week starting Monday. All I need is a good dose of patience each night and I'll be ok. That and to be able to time Bailey's feedings a little better so she isn't hungry right after Isabella goes down. I only had to go up there once tonight after I put her down and there was no crying and no yelling (yes, Saturday night was so bad that, sadly, I yelled at my child). Actually there was a bit of crying because Isabella had bumped her head - that is why I had to go up there. When I went up there she told me "last time". And I guess she meant it! Now she's asleep. She probably looks something like this, which is how Nick found her last night:

sweet sweet pictures! We can't wait to see Bailey grow into her own little self.
And I hear you about the tough nights. I had such a hard time for awhile putting both kids to bed when Rob wasn't home... nursing while reading bedtime stories was the solution for us! :)
