Linz!

My good friend Lindsay came to town yesterday. We were roommates freshman year at Davidson, carefully selected as roommates by the expert personality matchers in the Residence Life Office that year. They obviously did a good job because we gad a great year together and roomed together again senior year! We have stayed in pretty close contact the past TEN YEARS! Yes, that's right, Linz was in NC to celebrate our 10 year reunion! Sadly, I chose not to attend because of the logistics of balancing a newborn and a 2 year old. But Lindsay had a good time and the added benefit is that she was able to swing by and spend the night with us last night (she was the first to break in the sofa bed - thanks IKEA!). She was last here when Isabella was just a few months old and now was able to meet Bailey. Isabella of course was slow to warm up to Lindsay but as I predicted, when I picked her up from school today, she was asking "Mommy and Daddy's friend be dare?" I told you she'd ask about you, Linz!! We enjoyed a nice walk in the park this morning before Linz was back off to Nashville. Hope you had a nice trip! It was great seeing you!
