Isabella continues to do well with her little sister. She is currently going through a very typical "terrible 2s" stage right now. It is not terrible in the grand scheme of things, but is for her. She thinks it is pretty funny to be disobedient, so we are finally starting to utilize time out. Her behaviors may be exacerbated a little bit by our new addition, but most of it is pretty age-typical behaviors. But she is starting to be consistently more gentle with her and is giving more kisses.
We took her to the allergist yesterday because of a suspected shrimp allergy. She was a champ - didn't cry a bit when she had the skin prick test all up and down her back! She tested negative for everything in the panel, which was some of the typical food allergies (including shrimp/shellfish) as well as a basic seasonal allergy panel. We're going for a blood test for the shrimp, just to double check, but at this point we are thinking it is more an intolerance as opposed to an allergy. Which is a relief! The allergist we saw is absolutely fabulous - if you are in the area and need a pediatric (or adult - Nick set up an appt with her next month) allergist, we highly recommend Dr. Whelan at LeBauer Asthma and Allergy. She was very thorough with us, making sure all of our questions were answered, and she was good with Isabella too.
We are continuing to enjoy lots of time with Aunt Annie. She comes over often, much to Isabella's enjoyment. Whenever she is here through Isabella's bedtime, she wakes up in the morning asking where Aunt Annie is. We will definitely miss her when she returns to Portland next month.

I am glad you saw Dr. Whelan, she is awesome! She is also Emma's doc. Not even seasonal allergies, that's great!
