When we first introduced the paci to Bailey, she took to it right away and we thought, "OK, here we go, we've got ourselves a paci baby" and we already started making plans to wean her off of it at 1 or 2 or 3...would it be the Paci Fairy, or "giving" it to another new little baby (not ours!), or throwing it into Lake Brandt, like Riley Partin did...the possibilities are endless but rarely fun, from what we've heard (Isabella took the paci occasionally). Anyway, we are getting ahead of ourselves! She does take the paci, sometimes. She doesn't rely on it (yet), but does like it at certain times of the day. It helps to calm her down when she is going through a fussy period. It cracks me up when I give it to her though, because at first, she rarely takes it immediately. She will give me a look either like "whaaat is this thing?" or "Mom, how COULD you?!?!"
She is still sleeping A LOT!! She sleeps most of the day but usually has an awake period during late afternoon/evening. She is turning into a pretty good night sleeper. We are consistently getting 6-7 hours per night, then she wakes up to eat, and will usually go back to sleep for another 2 hours or so. So that is good! For some reason I'm still tired alot though, even though I am sleeping better than I was when I was pregnant!
I had to include this picture of her in the bath - look at that belly! She doesn't like being cold, so if I can keep her warm enough, she does well in the bath. This is the only time that her hair doesn't stick up - when it is wet!
And just for kicks, check out Isabella's Bathtubs and Pacifiers post here.
