The excitement is building!

I made an advent calendar! I'm so proud of myself!! The one we grew up with was similar - a felt tree with felt ornaments that Annie and I took turns pinning on the tree each day. I wanted a similar one, not the kind where there is a box each day with something inside. So I saw this on Etsy and decided to make it myself. The ornaments are all felt, some with buttons. The girls have been enjoying it so far!

Isabella still does not wish to sit on Santa's lap, which is fine, but as she is understanding more and more what Santa does, she still wants him to bring her toys! I was talking to one of the parents at school who coordinates the Chick-Fil-A fundraiser nights, and we were discussing how much the girls love the CFA cow, when many other kids run screaming in the other direction. She said that we should get the cow to dress up like Santa, maybe then the girls would sit in his lap! That would probably work...

We went to breakfast with Santa today at the Elks Club, and since Isabella didn't want to sit on his lap, we decided to write him a letter! For Christmas, Isabella has asked for:
dollhouse
puppy (a toy puppy I hope!)
Legos

Huh. Well, that stuff wasn't really on Santa's list, but I think she'll enjoy what he gets her anyway...

This was a big week at Little Mouse! Bailey had her Christmas party...

...and came home with this much candy!?! SHE IS 20 MONTHS OLD!!

I love this picture of Isabella...too bad sweet little Jack Anderson has his fingers up his nose back there!

And she also had pajama day at school, which was equally exciting! Notice Isabella in her blue (boys) dinosaur jammies!
