Belly is getting bigger and bigger and bigger...
Bailey is also getting bigger and bigger. I am starting to feel the hiccups, which I have never really liked. It seems like they last too long. I don't mind her kicks and punches, even though they can be a little uncomfortable. This pregnancy isn't too different from my first, although having a 2 year old just makes it a little harder, especially when I have to sit on the floor with her for any reason. I feel like I am bigger, although I'm probably not. I don't feel like I can keep growing for the next 5 weeks or so, but I guess I will! Her nursery is finally done! We worked on it last weekend and this weekend. We didn't paint the walls but we have the same bedding, furniture, accessories as we did for Isabella. I'll take a picture at some point...
Ok this next story is not for everyone but I'll tell it anyway because it makes ME laugh.
Someone used the word "poophole" in conversation with me the other day. Who do you think it was?
a) my 2 year old daughter...what are they teaching her at daycare?!
b) my wonderful husband, whose sense of humor can be as adolescent as my own
c) a middle school boy when I was subbing at school
d) my midwife
Any guesses?
The correct answer is d) my midwife. Was she SERIOUS!?!? Did she learn that in midwifery school? I about died but held it together. Then I thought "really, I am a big girl, I can handle, and would RATHER hear, the word anus or rectum". But who would have ever thought that someone in the medical profession would use the word "poophole" during an appointment?
