"haircut"

Isabella's hair had gotten out of control, as evidenced by many of the pictures on this blog. Her one and only haircut was back in May (see pictures here). May. That is a long time ago! It was long overdue. Well, we tried to go somewhere to get it cut, as Heather, who cut it last time, no longer lives here. That was a disaster! She panicked and it just wasn't worth it. So I decided to do it at home. In the bath one night, I pulled her hair into a ponytail and ch-ch-chopped it off.

Hmm...probably not the best idea. But her teachers at school were nice enough to tell us that it was fashionable, you know, the "layered look". Ha ha! At least she wears it up most of the time so no one is the wiser.

I was going to try to even it out a bit, but I didn't really know where to start with it, so I just left it alone. At some point it will need some professional attention but it is fine for now.
