Isabella continues to narrate her little world, often surprising us with the things she comes up with.
- One of her favorite videos on You Tube is a Spanish cartoon called Pocoyo. She refers to it as "acopoco".
- She has really been working on her "r" sound. She kind of curls it, definitely not like a Spanish rolling "r", but definitely emphasized.
- One sound combination that she hasn't mastered is the "sk" sound. Funny because she can obviously hear it, just not say it, as evidenced by the fact that she puts the "k" sound at the end of the word. school becomes "sook", sky becomes "syk", squirrel becomes, well, that one is a little harder, "swerk" is the best I can do for that one. It is pretty cute to hear her talking about going to "sook" every day.
- One of her newest words is "actually". "Mommy, sit on the turtle, no sit on the frog actually." "I have 2 horses. No, this is a goat actually." "I want the shopping cart. No I want the truck actually." It is a trip!
- She is also really good with using other words such as "still": "The big kids are still here" and "anymore": "The big kids are not here any-more"
