8 hours straight!

Isabella slept from 9:30 until 5:30 last night! Yay! I don't expect every night to be an 8 hour night, but it's nice to know that she can do it! She stayed awake from 5:30 until about 6:30, and then slept until about 8:30. We went to a holiday party yesterday at work. Clare said "Oh, she's sleeping 6 hours now, that's long enough for you to come back to work since you're getting so much sleep." Ha ha. I'm using my entire 3 months, thank you very much! It was good for me to go to the party and see everyone. As depressed as I've been about putting Isabella in daycare, it was refreshing to be around the working mentality and remind myself how much I do love my job and that it will be ok for me to be a working mom. I think we've made a decision about daycare! I'm just waiting to hear back from her. We're going to leave her with a stay at home mom who has 2 kids at home with her. I met her last week and Nick met her today. She is super nice and seems to have a similar parenting style to us. I think it will work out well for Isabella. It will be hard at first, but I think it will be a good fit.
