So Nick's friend Rebecca was in town today with her new baby Eli. I, of course, was working and had to miss seeing them, but I've seen pictures and Eli is precious! Anyway, Nick called me today on the way to the sitter's and said that Isabella did well when they were there and she just stared at Eli the whole time (Keenan, you better watch out, Eli might steal your girl!). I asked if he took any pictures and he said "No, I didn't. I didn't show her around the house, I didn't offer her anything to drink or eat, I didn't take any pictures. I think I was just so excited to actually have another adult to talk to. This was my first playdate, you know!" Hee hee hee. Robyn and Ryan, you guys better watch out because Nick is already counting the days until you are on maternity/paternity leave! You are going to have to lock the doors and pretend to be "sleeping" because he will be on your doorstep every morning! :)
In other news, I took Isabella to the doctor today because of a rash on her belly. It is probably just excema, which she has on other parts of her body too. The doctor thinks she'll probably grow out of it as she gets older. I hope so. I grew up watching the effects that bad excema had on Aunt Annie, so hopefully Isabella's skin will be better. She got weighed while she was there and she is now 19 pounds, 12 ounces! I thought her weight gain had slowed down a little bit, but it seems to have picked back up! Little chunker!
