...we found out I was pregnant! It has been a wonderful year!
I am home from work today! We got a rare case of the "winter weather" and it got us out of school!
Isabella continues to do well while I'm at work! Nick has started settling into a routine with her in the mornings and I get good reports from Crystal in the afternoons. So far, so good, and I am really enjoying my status as "working mom". I do treasure my afternoons and weekends (and snow days) with her. She is such a happy, sweet baby and so much fun to be around. She is still a good sleeper, and sleeps 10-11 hours straight, as long as she doesn't wiggle her arms out of her swaddle. Since I get a lot of sleep, it has made it easier to make it to work on time! I continue to love my job. Along with my responsibilities as Director of Communications, I also teach 2 classes. I have a 12th grader working 1-on-1 in reading and I have a math class with 1 1st grader and 1 3rd grader. They are adorable! Laura will be having her baby in March, and staying out through the summer, so I'll probably be even busier when she's gone. Even though it was hard to go back to work, it has gotten easier and I'm really glad to be back!
