We miss Wan!

This post is because I miss my friend Wan who lives all the way on the other side of the country where it never rains nor changes seasons in the least. I got an email from Wan the other day, a couple of days after the little icing that we had that sent everyone into a tizzy. Well, they had just gotten some rain in LA and Wan said that rain does the same thing to LA that snow/ice does to NC. There are more wrecks and sirens when it rains because people don't know how to drive in it! Ha ha. Wan is one of my oldest friends. Well actually she's younger than me by a couple of weeks and I'm friends with people who are older than us, BUT we've been friends since 8th grade and BFF since 11th (or was it 12th?) grade. We, just the two of us, ate lunch together every single day senior year and I drove her all around all the time and we share all of those inside jokes that are only ever funny when you are a teenager. She is my only friend that I am still close to that I knew before college. She can always make me laugh. And I miss her terribly! So in her honor I took some pictures of Isabella hanging out on the present that Wan sent when Isabella was born. What Wan doesn't know is that the company that she ordered the duckie from, Red Envelope, now sends us a catalog every few weeks. But what is funny about that is that it is addressed to Isabella. I don't know why but it does crack me up to see a catalog arrive at our house addressed to Isabella. Anyway, enough of my rambling. Enjoy the pictures of little miss chubby cheeks.
