Isabella had her 2 week doctor's visit today. She is now 22 1/4 inches long and weighs a whopping 10 pounds, 12 ounces! She is in the 90th percentile for weight and height, so she is very proportional, but that means she is an eater! She was last weighed on October 16, and weighed 9,5. She's gained almost a pound and a half in just over a week! Everything checked out very well at the doctor. Her umbi is about to fall off (much to the relief of her daddy). She is such a good baby! She only cried for a little bit when she was all naked, but otherwise she did well with the weighing and the poking and prodding. We're still sleeping on the couch, but she's sleeping 2.5-4 hours at a time before waking up to eat, so I'm happy with that much sleep for now. We'll try to transition to the crib again soon. I can't wait to stretch out in my bed again, but I do actually enjoy that sweet sleeping baby lying with me at night.
We are continuing to receive dinners from friends, neighbors, and coworkers. It is an amazing relief not to have to worry about cooking (or doing much cleaning). I think that we have about 2 more weeks of meals, and after that, maybe I'll be ready to get back in the routine of trying to cook and clean!
