We are so fortunate to have my parents living in town! They have been such a great help these past few weeks, from making us dinner to going to the store to meeting the HVAC guy at the house...and the list goes on. Thanks, Mom and Dad, for all that you have done and continue to do!
Annie was in to visit for about a week. It was, of course, so good to see her! She was so happy to meet her niece and Isabella was happy (as happy as a week old baby can be) to meet her Aunt Annie! Annie got to change a couple of diapers, but Isabella was nice to her and didn't poopy in them, nor did she poopy while the diaper was off! Of course, the week went by too fast, and Annie and her boyfriend Brian are now taking 2 weeks to drive back to Portland!
They're taking the southern route. I got a text from her last night and they were living it up in the French Quarter down in New Orleans. They're headed towards Texas and will also get to see the Grand Canyon.

Isabella got to meet her great grandmother Marie (Rie) Ellis, who is just 1 day short of being exactly 92 years older than Isabella. She also got to meet her great grandfather John Oxenfeld, who was so excited to meet his very first great grandchild! My aunt Mary also came to meet Isabella, and it made her even more excited for her first grandchild to be born! My cousin Anna is due to have a boy at the end of December. It will be fun to have two little babies on that side of the family. I will post pictures of Isabella with her great grandparents as soon as I get them from my dad.
