Although we envision volleyballs and not pompoms in our daughter's future, we couldn't help dressing her up in this adorable cheerleader outfit for the football game yesterday. The Tar Heel football team hasn't given us too much to cheer about this year, but we have hopes that Butch Davis will turn things around. Hopefully she won't grow out of this outfit before basketball season really gets underway. (By the way, did you see Davidson almost beat the Heels the other night?) Speaking of growing, she now weighs just over 13 pounds and is wearing mostly size 6 mo clothes, although she still fits into some 3-6 mo and the occasional 3 mo outfit. Not bad for a baby who celebrates her 6 week birthday tomorrow! She has really been smiling and grinning a lot lately. I'm trying to catch it on camera, because she is so adorable!
Coming up this week - Thanksgiving! We're going to Raleigh, which makes me a little nervous, because she doesn't love her carseat, and definitely isn't one of those babies who goes right to sleep in the car. So the hour and a half trip both ways could be a little noisy. We'll see.
