Isabella's first Halloween was quite uneventful. But then again, what do you expect from a 3 week old baby? Evenings are her fussy time, so the two of us had to spend most of our evening on the couch, eating, while Nick hung out outside with the neighbors.
Isabella and I went to our first "Baby and Me" class today at the Women's Hospital. Today's class was taught by a music instructor, so we were singing and moving the whole time. Or should I say the rest of the class was. Isabella was awake for about 5 or 10 minutes before she needed to eat and was then sound asleep the entire time until the very end. There were about 20 babies in there. We met a baby who was born 2 days before Isabella, but most of the other babies seemed older. Lots of them were smiling and really holding their heads up. This class meets once per week and we can go until Isabella starts crawling, so it should be a fun way to meet people and get out of the house!
I absolutely cannot believe that today is November! October has been an absolute blur. The first week was all about waiting for the mystery Isabella to arrive on her mystery date. Then the next 3 weeks were all about taking care of this wonderful baby! It has been crazy!
