Yesterday started out so well...we went to the mall :0 to exchange some clothes for Isabella. She slept right through it...so I stopped at Baby Depot on the way home...slept right through that...drove to Harris Teeter, fed and changed her in the parking lot...grocery shopping went just fine...was able to feed her and eat lunch with no problems. But then the fussiness started. She was fussy while eating and didn't want to finish eating. She has been burping and spitting up more than normal. She seemed kind of uncomfortable. This continued most of the afternoon until evening, when Erin arrived to bring us dinner. She slept through that, so Erin got to experience sweet, peaceful Isabella. Once she woke up, she went right back to her fussy ways, continuing through the night. We slept from 10:30 until around 2 or 2:30, and then she didn't go back to sleep until 4:30, and woke up every 45 minutes after that. Sigh. Nick was home for a little while this morning and I got a 45 minute nap, but then she was fussy from about 11:00 until 1:00, when we were finally able to sleep for an hour and a half. After my nap and some lunch, I am feeling a little bit better, but it seems like if she's not sleeping, she's fussing! I'm hoping that it is just a phase, or maybe it was something I ate yesterday. Luckily, Nick is going to be able to leave work a little early today, so that's a relief that I will have some help with this fussy little baby!
In other news, my sister has finally ended her cross country adventure. They arrived back in Portland on Sunday, after having put 4500 miles on their rental car!
