HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
We have reached 2010, Bailey's birth year! It is hard to believe that in about 3 months, we'll have another daughter.
Bailey is getting bigger! As is my BELLY! I go for my next appointment on Thursday and after that I have to go every 2 weeks. It is funny because with Isabella, I was so excited to get to that point. Now I am groaning that I have to go sit at the dr's office every 2 weeks. I told Nick, I feel her kicking every day, isn't that enough for awhile? The appointments go like this: WAIT, wait wait wait, WAIT, wait, and finally see the midwife, who listens to the heartbeat, measures my belly, asks if I have any questions, and then I am off to the front desk to set my next appointment. All the while my PTO time is tick tick ticking in the back of my head as I miss work. Oh well, such is pregnancy. I am thankful for such quality prenatal care and it does make me feel good to hear that heartbeat and for my belly to be growing at the rate it should be. I just like to complain sometimes.
I am feeling pretty good other than having a cold that has taken up what seems like permanent residence in my sinuses, my left sinus especially. I am starting to feel bigger, but so far, the only real pregnancy symptom continues to be insomnia, which hits for about 2 hours in the middle of the night/early morning about once or twice per week. Heartburn has been minimal so far, as have the aches and pains. Although, I find it hard to sit on the floor without one of my limbs falling asleep. Makes it difficult when Isabella refuses to have her diaper changed anywhere else BUT the floor these days. I do tire easily, and am SO thankful that Isabella has finally decided to become a little more independent in certain areas, namely, walking. She will finally walk back and forth from the car to the house and since she knows the rule "hold hands in parking lot", I can often get away with not having to carry her all the time when we are out shopping.

I finally bought Bailey her very first outfit this week. I walked away several times - $12.50 seemed a little steep, but in the end, it was too cute to resist, and I figured she deserved it, since she can expect so many hand-me-downs! It is adorable though, isn't it?
