Threeteen, fourteen, fiveteen

Little kids start to pick up on the generalizations of the English language pretty early, but it sometimes takes longer to learn the exceptions to the "rules". Isabella can basically count to 20 (she usually skips a few numbers here and there after she gets to 12). But lately, when she sees the numbers, she has been counting "threeteen, fourteen, fiveteen..." It is pretty cute. I mean, it makes sense, most of the other teen numbers are said that way! She will also correct me when talking about sheep. If there are lots of sheep, she insists that there are "sheeps". So, she is starting to understand the rule of plurals!

I have been asked for a post on our trip to IKEA. We spent too much but got A LOT for our money, which is probably true of most shopping trips to IKEA. I will take pictures of our living room, which now looks very nice, for your enjoyment (Guylene).

I am 32 weeks tomorrow! We have signed up to take a refresher childbirth class next month. Hopefully that will make me think a little more about the birth. I am starting to slow down, so it has been easier to think about, but I think the time in class will be good for us. I am feeling pretty good but big. I am starting to tire more easily, which isn't helped by the fact that I am not sleeping as well. My midwife did tell me I could take something to help me sleep. Benedryl and Unisom are safe during pregnancy. So I took Benedryl for a couple of nights and it did help. The problem is not going to sleep but staying asleep. As much as I like to complain about it, I'm sure in a couple months when the whole house is awake due to a hungry, crying baby, I will really be missing the times when it was just me, laying awake in bed for 2 hours in the middle of the night. Bailey is definitely bigger now. My belly is big and her movements are bigger. At my last appointment, she was head down, so we'll just keep hoping she decides to stay that way!

And Annie has arrived in India! Her last stop before she comes home!
